Vocational Programs
Hawker College offers a number of nationally recognised vocational (industry) courses. These courses offer students the opportunity to develop workforce skills at the same time as they work towards a Year 12 Certificate. Vocational courses are constantly under development.

Enterprise Education
At Hawker College, Enterprise Education may be found in many contexts and includes the following:
- Classroom activities : students and staff develop qualities and competencies that enable them to be flexible, creative,
adaptable and innovative. These qualities and competencies may be reported on in assessment processes. - Community activities : Staff and students with partners in the region - apply enterprising qualities and competencies to achieve beneficial outcomes.
- Student Enterprise : the College actively encourages activities that enable students to make an early start for themselves in the world of work.
Examples include: - Real business activities such as Young Achievers, Coffee Shop, Murranji Theatre, TEECH (Training Enterprise Exchange Centre)
- Virtual businesses in community partnerships such as Virtual Enterprise Australia 767 Mobile Connection, specialists in a diverse range of mobile accessories.
