Belconnen Schools Cluster Future of Education Community Forum

All community members of Florey Primary School, Hawker School,
Southern Cross Early Childhood School, Weetangera School, Belconnen
High School and Hawker College are welcome to attend the Belconnen
Schools Cluster Future of Education community forum. This is an opportunity
for all of us to envisage an amazing education journey for children in our
schools.
As light refreshments will be provided please RSVP by

Democracy in Action

On 20th March, Hawker College ran a whole school election to elect Year 11 and 12 students to form a new Student Leadership Group (SLG). The newly elected SLG members will play a critical role in advocacy and practical advancement of issues that affect the college.

Congratulations to the following SLG elected representatives :-

Meet the Teachers Evening

Parents and Carers are invited to come along to an informal gathering on Wednesday 1 March from 5.30 pm - 7pm in our Chino's Courtyard and Library.

Hawker College provides this as an opportunity to:

  • Meet with those who are teaching your students this semester
  • Find out about avenues of support available to students
  • Obtain first-hand information on how the ACT senior secondary system works
Entertainment and refreshments will be provided by students.
